If your parent is 50 or older and has been a permanent resident for 20+ years, they can take the civics test in Tagalog with an interpreter. They still take the full test.

55/15 Rule

If your parent is 55 or older with 15+ years as a permanent resident, same benefit — civics test in Tagalog.

65/20 Rule

If your parent is 65 or older with 20+ years of residency, they get a simplified test — only 20 questions instead of 128, and they can take it in Tagalog.
